Spring is almost here, which means it’s the PERFECT time to spring into healthier living with Pure Haven!
Hi! I’m Colleen Speer, a long-time Bailey mom and proud sponsor of the March Shop for a Cause event. My oldest son, Aidan, is a Bailey alum and currently a 6th grader at Grizzell. I also have two current Bailey students (Elias is a third grader and Isaac is a first grader) and my daughter Zoe (2.5) will be a Bulldog in a few years.
I want to thank Maria Cramer-Kirkpatrick for organizing the Shop for a Cause fundraiser and for giving me the opportunity to share this important message with the Bailey community.
Pure Haven has made such a difference in my family’s life, and I can’t wait to share all this non-toxic goodness with each of you. Perhaps you’ve never really thought about what’s IN the products you use for your family (I mean, it’s on the shelf so it’s got to be safe…right?) Or maybe you already use “organic” or “all-natural” products (nearly all of which are “greenwashed” or don’t really work). But there’s SOOOO much more to the story…
In a few days, you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about why Pure Haven is hands down, simply the best way to protect your Bailey family from harmful toxins. I’ll be going live, sharing products and giving you the information you need to make safer, informed choices for your family. Whether you’re looking for younger, healthier skin, safer sun care protection or toxin-free home cleaning solutions, there’s something for you (and I promise to make it fun!)
To get all the details and learn more about my non-toxic journey, join this year’s private Bailey Shops Nontoxic group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/baileyshopsnontoxic2022/
And if you can’t wait (or just want to get shopping), go to www.purehaven.com/colleenspeer and use party ID #297405. I’ll be donating 50% of all commissions from March sales back to the Bailey PTO and you’ll be removing toxins from your home – it’s a win win!
To healthier living this spring!

Registration is currently open for DYA’s spring boys volleyball league. There is a 3rd/4th grade league as well as a 5th/6th grade league. They are looking for more elementary school students to fill rosters and teams. It is a great opportunity for the younger boys to learn the fundamentals and skills of a new sport while staying active and having fun!

My name is Laura Dean-Barbosa and this is my family’s second year in the Bailey community (previously at Deer Run). My husband Rodrigo and I have a fifth grader and a second grader at Bailey. Boston Stoker Coffee Co. is a second-generation family owned and operated company, founded by my parents nearly 50 years ago! Our roastery is in Dayton where all your orders are roasted fresh to order prior to shipping. We take great pride in the sourcing of our coffees and work hard to provide the highest quality product that we can. In the Dayton/Columbus area we operate several coffee house locations, and we are extremely excited to be moving into the Dublin/Shawnee Hills community later this year on Glick Rd. (next to Walgreens).

Propello Life is honored to be January’s business for Bailey Elementary’s Shop for a Cause. I’m Duke Armstrong, and with my wife Jen, we have a second and fourth grader at Bailey (and one who graduated from there last year). We couldn’t be happier with the community at this school!
You may know us as the house with all of the boxes in our garage, and that is literally how we started our business. I used to work for multiple sports nutrition companies before going on my own health journey. Once I started on my own personal health journey, I realized the world was missing healthy nutrition products that had ingredients I felt good about putting in my body (and giving to our kids). That is how Propello Life was born. Jen and I have been working hard for over five years now, and we graduated from working out of our garage into moving into a warehouse over by Costco!
All of our products are all-natural, non-GMO, gluten free, free of anything artificial, and made with the highest quality ingredients. We offer Collagen, grass-fed Whey and Vegan proteins as well as Rejuvenating Aminos, two pre-workout options (Energy+Focus and Pre-Workout), and a protein infused peanut butter.
I’m happy to answer any questions you might have about our products or anything health and fitness related!
For Shop for a Cause, we are happy to give you 10% off your purchase and donate 20% of every purchase back to Bailey with the code BAILEY. This offer is good through the end of the month.
We offer free shipping on orders over $50 and free local pickup option from our home if that is easier!
Thank you to everyone for your support!
